Hillsborough Heritage River

Additional Information

The Canadian Heritage River Story Maps went online in June of 2020. The Hillsborough River Association contribution  can be found here:

https://apca.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=c6222ce64be948b68b44043fefdcd19a

The  Hillsborough River portion was coordinated by Dan McAskill with input  from several other people. As a HRA board member from Wright's Creek, I  helped with our contribution, which can be found by clicking on the Hillsborough River Cultural  Heritage tab -- see items 29 to 41. Our trail system is also noted in the  Recreational Heritage section.  You may want to explore the entire Heritage Rivers project.  A wonderful historical record.

The Hillsborough River has a lot of stories to tell.
